Pikeville Medical Center’s (PMC) new Urgent Care and Family Wellness Center offers many levels of services for patients of all ages in the region. In addition to housing all PMC pediatricians and a few OB/GYN providers, a team of highly skilled professionals is also on-site to address urgent care needs. PMC’s Urgent Care providers treat injuries, common medical conditions and illnesses and provide certain diagnostic services on-site.
“The new facility is a wonderful addition to our community,” said PMC Assistant Vice President of Physician Practices, Stormie Adkins. “Our patients of all ages can now access quality healthcare in a convenient location.”
Adkins said having the additional service hours for urgent care is extremely helpful to those who require care outside of regular operating hours.
“In addition to convenient hours, this clinic offers on-site x-ray and lab services,” said Adkins. “Being able to receive an x-ray or be tested for an illness outside of regular business hours is a bonus for so many, including working moms like me.”
The PMC Urgent Care and Family Wellness Center is conveniently located on Cassady Boulevard in Pikeville between McDonald’s and Walmart and is open seven days a week between 8 am and 8 pm.
