Interventional Radiologist William Coulter, DO, and his highly experienced team is committed to providing specialized care for patients using PMC’s state-of-the-art MRI, CT, and ultrasound equipment. These patients typically see a reduction in recovery time, pain and risk for complications who would otherwise require traditional surgery.
Dr. Coulter uses medical images to guide minimally invasive surgical procedures that diagnose and treat many kinds of conditions. These include joint injections, varicose vein treatment, and specialized procedures that remove excess fluid around the lungs and chest wall, to help patients breathe easier. He also performs bone marrow and tumor biopsies, and dialysis access and management.
Dr. Coulter is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostics Radiology.
“My rule of thumb is to be prepared, and have the creativity and flexibility to handle crises and abnormalities as they arise,” said Dr. Coulter. “Patience is a key to this profession, whether it’s explaining a procedure or working through a difficulty.”
