Residency Curriculum

Our Mission

The mission of the Internal Medicine residency program is to provide a comprehensive educational program, enabling residents to cultivate the requisite proficiency, aptitude, and clinical expertise essential for delivering superior patient care within the tri-state area encompassing eastern Kentucky, southern West Virginia, and western Virginia. The program’s vision is to develop the internal medicine physician who provides empathetic healthcare while navigating the intricate landscape of modern medicine, to foster an academic environment conducive to scholarly inquiry, and to provide robust mentorship in clinical research endeavors. These aspirations are underpinned by our unwavering commitment to uphold core values of diversity, respect, compassion, and collaboration.
