Warm weather has arrived, and school is out for the summer, much to the delight of students across Eastern Kentucky. During summer, more time is spent enjoying outdoor activities which, many times, can result in injuries from falls and accidents. Sprains, strains, fractures and joint injuries are very common summertime injuries, but the Pikeville Medical Center Orthopedic Center is prepared with a team of highly trained orthopedic specialists.
The PMC Orthopedic Center utilizes state-of-the-art technology, offers the latest advancements including robotic surgery and is staffed with surgeons, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and numerous support personnel specifically trained in orthopedic care.
