Pikeville Medical Center proudly announces its new association with William Brian Helton, MD, and Mark Veronneau, DO.
Dr. Helton and Dr. Veronneau will be joining PMC’s Otolaryngologist, William Hoskins, DO, to treat patients requiring services.
“The growing number of patients requiring otolaryngology services continues to increase,” said Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Kansas Justice. “It was vital that we meet the demands of those in the region.”
She says Dr. Helton and Dr. Veronneau both bring an extensive background to provide quality healthcare to patients.
“We are pleased with the addition of both Dr. Helton and Dr. Veronneau,” said Justice. “The two are wonderful people and physicians.”
She says she looks forward to them joining Dr. Hoskins and continue to provide quality care to the region.
“Dr. Hoskins is an excellent surgeon who provides quality care to his patients,” said Dr. Veronneau. “Dr. Helton and I both think very highly of him as a physician and a person.”
He says the two of them are looking forward to working with Dr. Hoskins at PMC.
Dr. Helton received his Bachelor of Science from Morehead State University in Ky and completed his medical degree from the University of Louisville. Dr. Helton completed his residency at the University of Kentucky.
“I wanted to become a physician to provide quality specialty care to our region,” said Dr. Helton. “I have always felt that people should not have to leave our area to receive specialty care.”
He says he hopes his patients recognize his compassion for their healthcare and well-being.
Dr. Veronneau received his Bachelor of Science from Emmanuel College in Boston, Massachusetts and he completed his pre-medical requirements from the University of Nevada. Dr. Veronneau earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens.
“I enjoy practicing medicine in this area,” said Dr. Veronneau. “I always wanted to be a physician and found otolaryngology very interesting and in high demand.”
He says he wanted to work in an area that had a high demand for his services.
“Practicing in this area has been a blessing,” said Dr. Veronneau. “I recognized patients needing services in the area and felt as if I could make a difference for them.”
The two look forward to providing care to patients at PMC.
