Trauma Surgeon
Job Description: Pikeville Medical Center is actively seeking a general surgeon with trauma experience to assist in establishing a Level II trauma center. PMC has a large number of experienced specialty and subspecialty physicians who are enthusiastic about the hospital instituting a Level II trauma center.
Located in one of the “Best Small Towns in America” (Prentice Hall), PMC has continued to grow with the needs of the community during its 86-year history while experiencing tremendous growth, expansion, and continued increase in patient volume. PMC recognizes the high incidence of trauma in the region and is committed to making more extensive trauma care available to the patient service area of a quarter million it serves.
